Minda Harts: Author Event

August 22 @ 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm

Free

Join the author of The Memo: What Women of Color Need to Know to Secure a Seat at the Table, Minda Harts and our Well-Read Black Girl Book Club Host, Brit Fitzpatrick, for a hands-on conversation exploring what it takes for Women of Color to experience a workplace that doesn’t always think of advancing them to the table. We’ll cover how non-women of color can be a successful ally at work, by bridging the empathy gap through experiences, the art and value of networking, and so much more.

Minda Harts is an accomplished author, speaker, entrepreneur, professor and podcaster. The Blue Manatee is honored to welcome Minda to our bookstore as she launches her new book. This special August Meet-Up of the Well-Read Black Girl Book Club is open to all professional women of any color as Minda leads a discussion on creating an equitable workspace.

Following the fireside chat and Q&A, Minda will be signing copies of her book which you can pre-order here.

Space is limited so RSVP for this free event to reserve your spot.
